An investigation is underway into the death of a 33-year-old man in Dauphin early this (THURS) morning.

RCMP were called to a home in the city at approximately 1:50 a.m., after an injured man knocked on the door of the home, seeking help.

The homeowners called an ambulance, and the man was transported to hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.

RCMP Major Crime Services are handling the investigation, which is being treated as a homicide.

The victim’s name has not been released.
