Manitoba Reports 62 New COVID-19 Cases, 43 Recoveries and One Death Saturday

Manitoba updated its COVID-19 Dashboard Saturday, showing 62 new cases, bringing the provincial total to 57,417.

24 of the new cases are in the Interlake-Eastern Health Region, 21 in the Winnipeg Health Region, 7 each in the Northern and Southern Health Regions, and 3 in the Prairie Mountain Health Region.

551 cases are active province-wide, including 44 in Prairie Mountain Health, and 43 people recovered, increasing that total to 55,695.

One death due to COVID-19 was added to the provincial total, which is at 1,171.

103 people are in hospital, including 25 in the Intensive Care Unit.

An additional 1,413 tests for COVID-19 was conducted in Manitoba. The total number of tests done in the province is 864,248.

The test positivity rate provincially is 3.3 percent.
