Wadena Man Will Appear in Court Thursday on Numerous Charges Stemming from a Vehicle Stop

A total of 19 drug and firearm charges have been laid against a Wadena man, following a vehicle stop last Thursday (22nd).

Saskatoon RCMP members stopped a vehicle on Highway #16, after an investigation indicated that the owner may have been involved in drug trafficking.

A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 262 grams of methamphetamine, 121 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia, a cutting agent, a handgun, four prohibited gun magazines, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

33-year-old Brett Wilfred Holte remains in custody, and will be back in Saskatoon Provincial Court tomorrow (THURS), on charges including two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and five counts of Possession of a Weapon While Prohibited.
