The RCMP are telling drivers to not go around barricades set up where Highways 10 and 60 meet as well as Highway 10 south of The Pas.
The barricades are there due to significant fires and damage in the area.
The Pas Mounties are aware of people going around them to travel on the closed highways, and say this is a significant safety issue.
They strongly advise everyone to take alternate routes and notifications of when the roads will reopen will be provided by the province.
