Wadena Man Facing Drug and Firearm Charges Makes Another Court Appearance

Another court appearance has been made by a Wadena man, facing 19 drug and firearm charges, stemming from a July 22nd traffic stop.

Saskatoon RCMP members stopped a vehicle on Highway #16, after an investigation indicated that the owner may have been involved in drug trafficking.

A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 262 grams of methamphetamine, 121 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia, a cutting agent, a handgun, four prohibited gun magazines, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

33-year-old Brett Wilfred Holte remains in custody, and will be back in Saskatoon Provincial Court on August 10th, for a bail hearing.
