An unusual find was discovered in Grand Rapids on Sunday.
RCMP responded to a discovery of a grenade found on the riverbank behind the Grand Rapids school.
The Explosive Disposal Unit was called in, where they determined that the device was a modified pineapple grenade with the pin removed, and it was hollow, therefore, not at risk of exploding.
It is unknown where the grenade came from as it had washed up on the shore.
