Firefighters continue battling numerous wildfires in Saskatchewan.

132 fires have been identified in the province, with 18 burning out of control and six listed as contained.

88 fires are continuing to be monitored, while 20 of the active fires are requiring protection of property and infrastructure.

So far in 2021, there have been a total of 523 wildfires in Saskatchewan, more than double the five year average of 245.
