Four Men Charged in Connection to a Pair of Incidents in Late-July

Four men have been charged with Aggravated Assault, in connection with a pair of incidents on July 28th, that police say are connected.

Around 7:10 that night, Carlyle RCMP were called to investigate an alleged assault outside a business on the reserve, that left a man with serious injuries, and about an hour later, Mounties were notified that someone had discharged a firearm at a vehicle on the White Bear First Nation.

Two men – 20-year-old Demetrius Standingready, of the White Bear First Nation, and 27-year-old Jordan Desjarlais, of Regina – have made their first court appearances, with Standingready to return to court August 11th, and Desjarlais’ next court date set for August 9th.

Meanwhile, warrants have been issued for the arrests of 19-year-old Cyrus Campeau and 22-year-old Justin Desjarlais, who police believe may be in the Regina area.
