A new recreation centre is coming to Minnedosa.
Being named after Former Cabinet Minister Harold Gilleshammer, the new centre will have a full-sized ice surface, five dressing rooms, a fully-finished kitchen, upper and lower viewing areas, and an interior walking track.
The 7.2-million dollar project will see the Canadian government contribute 2-million dollars, 1.7-million dollars from the provincial government, while the town of Minnedosa will cover 3.4-million.
No start date was announced for the new project.
