Dauphin Man Accused of Attempted Kidnapping Remains in Custody for Next Court Date

Another court appearance has been made by a Dauphin man, arrested in connection with an attempted kidnapping.

On May 13th, a man allegedly entered a home on 3rd Avenue Southeast with a knife, and forced a 21-year-old woman outside.

Mounties note the suspect knew the woman.

Officers found the suspect and the woman, who was unharmed, and a knife was located nearby.

In Dauphin Court yesterday (Tue), 30-year-old Daniel Renner was remanded in custody to September 7th.
