One of Three People Charged in Violent Incident on Cote First Nation Makes Court Appearance

One of three people charged in connection with a violent incident on the Cote First Nation, has appeared in court again.

Kamsack RCMP say in the early morning hours of May 2nd, they were called to a home, on a report of a violent break, enter, and assault.

Upon arrival, they found a man, who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

In Kamsack Court yesterday (Tue), 19-year-old Jamie Quewezance was remanded in custody to August 24th.

Her co-accused, 18-year-old Sidney Rogers and 19-year-old Phoenix Shingoose, have each been sentenced to prison time, and a lifetime firearms ban.
