Saskatchewan recorded 187 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing the overall case count to 52,252.
Cases are located in the Far North Central (2), Far North West (6), Far North East (14), North West (12), North Central (16), North East (22), Central West (1), Saskatoon (37), Central East (11), South West (9), South Central (3), Regina (22), and South East (6) regions; 26 cases are pending locations.
Deaths due to COVID-19 in Saskatchewan stayed at 586.
There are 1,478 active cases, an increase of 97; the Central East region has 78 active cases.
89 people are in hospital while 90 people recovered from the virus, increasing the total to 50,188.
The seven day average of daily new cases went up by 9 to 155.
Total number of COVID-19 tests are 997,669, after 2,307 new tests were done in the province.
An additional 4,064 first doses were reported on the COVID-19 Dashboard along with 2,635 second doses. Total number of doses administered in Saskatchewan is 1,458,806.
