On Sunday, Saskatchewan recorded 219 new cases of COVID-19, bumping the provincial total up to 52,472.
New cases are located in the Far North Central (2), Far North East (4), Far North West (3), North West (15), North Central (21), North East (20), Central West (1), Saskatoon (50), Central East (10), South West (10), South Central (23), Regina (47), and South East (4) regions; 9 cases are pending a location.
No additional deaths due to COVID-19 to report, leaving the total at 586.
The seven day average of daily new cases increased again to 166.
There are 1,556 active cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, including 82 in the Central East region.
Hospitalizations are up by 5 to 94, while 142 recoveries were recorded, increasing the total to 50,330.
The province also reported 1,975 new tests for COVID-19 done, increasing the overall total to 999,644.
Regarding COVID-19 vaccines, an additional 2,180 new first doses have been administered along with 1,380 additional second doses, bringing the total number of doses to 1,460,986.
