Another court appearance for one of four men charged with Aggravated Assault, in connection with a pair of incidents on the Pheasant Rump Nakota and White Bear First Nations, on July 28th, that police say are connected. 20-year-old Demetrius Standingready, of the White Bear First Nation, remains in custody, and will be back in Carlyle Court on September 22nd. On the evening of July 28th, Carlyle RCMP were called to investigate an alleged assault outside a business on the Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation, that left a man seriously injured, and about an hour later, Mounties were notified that someone had discharged a firearm at a vehicle on the White Bear First Nation.
