A former member of the Federal Prosecution Service has been appointed as the newest provincial court judge for Yorkton by the Saskatchewan government. Lynn Hintz served in the Public Prosecution Service Canada, Saskatchewan Regional office, and recently served as the Deputy Chief Federal Prosecutor. Hintz, who grew up on a farm near Whitewood, also worked in the office of the prosecutor at the United Nations backed international criminal tribunal in Sierra Leone between 2005 and 2007.
