Manitoba Records 105 New Cases Of COVID-19, 1 Death

There was a jump in COVID-19 case counts in Manitoba.

105 new cases were identified with 33 in Winnipeg, 30 in the South, 17 in Prairie Mountain Health, 14 in the North and 11 in Interlake-Eastern.

77 cases are in unvaccinated individuals, 9 in partially vaccinated individuals, and 19 in fully vaccinated individuals.

Hospitalizations dropped to 75 with 15 in ICU, and there are 539 active cases, including 33 in the Prairie Mountain Health region.

Of the active cases, 60% are in unvaccinated individuals, 11% are in partially vaccinated individuals, and 29% are in fully vaccinated individuals.

75% of Manitobans in hospital with COVID-19 are unvaccinated, 11% are partially vaccinated and 14% are fully vaccinated, while 78% of Manitobans in ICU are unvaccinated, and 22% are partially vaccinated.

Manitoba also reported one additional death, bringing the provincial total to 1,200.
