Sask. Real Estate Sales Slump In August

While there have been some signs of shifting conditions over the past few months in terms of real estate sales in Saskatchewan, it has not erased the gains that have been seen so far throughout the year. Saskatchewan REALTORS Association CEO Chris Guerette says sales are currently sitting at a new record high thanks to gains across all property types on year-to-date basis. While sales declined in August by nearly 12 per cent compared August 2020, levels remain above long-term trends, Guerette says the slow down could be attributed to a number of potential factors.
