An arrest warrant has been issued for a Grenfell man facing several charges, following the alleged use of counterfeit currency at a Regina business. On May 10th, Regina Police got a report from a business, where someone used or attempted to use use fake one-hundred-dollar bills for purchases, on April 17th and May 3rd. The investigation led to two suspects being identified and a suspect vehicle located on May 11th, at a home in the city, where search warrants were executed and evidence was seized. 32-year-old Tyson Knutson failed to attend court yesterday, while the next appearance for his co-accused, 37-year-old Pierre Laferte, of Regina, is set for November 18th.
