A guilty verdict for one of three men, arrested in connection with a violent home invasion in Russell in December of 2019. RCMP were called to a report of a home invasion at an apartment complex, where a 32-year-old woman was assaulted while she slept. 41-year-old Elroy Benn was convicted of Break and Enter With Intent, and was sentenced to time served, to be followed by two years of probation. 33-year-old Christopher Benn was sentenced to prison time for his role in the incident, while 31-year-old Harley Mecas stands trial in November.
