Starting Friday, those entering restaurants, fitness centres, nightclubs and bars will need to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test in Saskatchewan. Jonathan Alward with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business says businesses may have to hire additional staff or purchase new technology to address the checking proof of vaccinations. Alward adds if the government is going to take a significant step like this in place, supports need to be offered to help keep businesses open.
