The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation caution drivers to be on the lookout for wildlife

Saskatchewan drivers are urged to be on the lookout for wildlife.

Autumn is the breeding season for moose and deer species causing increased roaming among these animals.

Over the past five years, an average of 367 injuries and one fatality occur per year with collisions between vehicles and wildlife.

Wildlife collisions also resulted in an average of 83.1-million dollars in insurance claims during that same time period.
