A stay of proceedings for two Fort Qu’Appelle residents charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. In February, five people were arrested after a month-long drug trafficking investigation led to the seizure of opioids, cash and cellphones. Three of the adults were released without charges. 67-year-old Chester Arnold and 56-year-old Vera Ryder were to appear in Fort Qu’Appelle for preliminary hearings, however on Tuesday, the charges were stayed by the Crown.
