Despite hot spots like Saskatchewan and Alberta, new cases of COVID-19 continue trending downward. Chief medical health officer Dr. Theresa Tam says once again, the majority of new cases are in the unvaccinated, as new cases were 8 times higher than those who had their shots, and hospitalizations 26 times higher. She also urges people to get their flu shot so as not to put added pressure on an already strained health case system.
