The Saskatchewan government is setting up a secure isolation site in North Battleford for those deemed needing to be isolated by a medical health officer. The Saskatchewan Health Authority’s Dr. Johnmark Opondo says this is in addition to a COVID Enforcement Team which will, among other things, enforce public health measures, in particular proof of vaccination non-compliance at businesses that are not typically regulated by public health inspectors. The Covid Enforcement Team will be made up up mainly of retired police officers and a on-line form or phone number to report on fellow citizens.
