- The new cases are located in the Far North West (3), Far North East (15), North West (17), North Central (30), North East (5), Saskatoon (69), Central West (6), Central East (32), Regina (50), South West (19), South Central (12) and South East (12) zones and nine (9) new cases have pending residence information
- 30 cases with pending residence information were assigned to Far North East (from October 5 (2), October 6 (3)), North West (from September 9 (3), September 11 (2), October 14 (1), October 16 (5)), North Central (from September 28 (1), September 29 (2)), North East (from October 16 (1)), Central East (from October 7 (1)), Regina (from October 4 (1), October 7 (1), October 12 (1), October 14 (3)), South Central (from October 16 (1)) and South East (from September 23 (1), October 14 (1)) zones

- 627 cases have pending residence information
- 3,670 cases are considered active and 70,218 cases are considered recovered
- Over a quarter (27.6%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39
- More than one in five (23.7%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) were fully vaccinated
- As of October 18th, a total of 335 individuals are hospitalized, including 250 inpatient hospitalizationsand 85 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 335 patients, 254 (75.8%) were not fully vaccinated.
- Four (4) new deaths reported today. 785 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 1.1%.
- 1,194,988 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of October 14, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,002,046 tests performed per million. the national rate was 1,179,741 tests performed per million.
- The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 319 (26.5 new cases per 100,000).
