A drop in active cases of COVID-19 was reported in Manitoba.

The province identified 51 new cases of the virus with two in the North, three in Interlake-Eastern, six in Prairie Mountain Health, 17 in Winnipeg and 32 in the South.

87 Manitobans are in hospital with 19 in ICU, 59 more people recovered, and there are 998 active cases, including 91 in the Prairie Mountain Health region.

One more death was also announced, bringing the provincial total to 1-thousand 235.
