Federated Co-operatives Limited has set targets to reduce its carbon footprint, and hope to achieve net-zero by the year 2050. CEO Scott Banda says they’ve signed an MOU with Calgary-based Whitecap Resources which will see CO2 captured at two Co-op facilities in Saskatchewan. FCL will invest $510 million dollars into carbon capture facilities.
