Beginning November 1st, natural gas bills will be on the rise in Saskatchewan, for the first time since 2014. The province of Saskatchewan has approved SaskEnergy’s request to raise its commodity rate after four straight decreases, with the price of natural gas having virtualy doubled since the last rate adjustment in 2019. Residential customers will see their gas bills rise an average of $6.16 a month, while small to large commercial customers will see their bills go up by anywhere from $30 to $393 per month, and large industrial customers will see an average increase of $1,625 a month.
