With the redeployment of health care workers to support Saskatoon’s intensive care units, the Saskatchewan Health Authority is advising patients that they may see a disruption in services at the Foam Lake Health Centre, beginning November 1st.
In a release, the SHA says that during this period, patients can expect longer wait times and fewer available appointments, and not always with their provider of choice.
Affected patients will be notified, and the SHA notes that during this period, care can be accessed at the hospitals and medical clinics in both Wynyard and Wadena.
Patients are also reminded that if they have any health-related questions, they can call HealthLine-811, 24 hours a day, and 911 should be called in case of emergency.
