Saskatchewan premier Scott Moe mentioned in his State of the Province Address that 60 or 70 nurses will be added to help out in ICUs in the coming weeks to help here. Saskatchewan Health Authority CEO Scott Livingstone believes the Premier is referring to 27 students graduating from an upskill training course soon, another group of 12 in December and more in January. Livingstone says along with the six critical care nurses from the federal government, planning is still in place for up to 20 Canadian Red Cross nurses.
