An Abernethy man arrested following a January 2020 incident involving the alleged assault of police officers will wait a bit longer to learn his fate. RCMP were called to an Abernethy home, to deal with a domestic dispute, and when Mounties tried to arrest the man, both suspects became aggressive, allegedly assaulting the officers. 26-year-old Brandon Poorman stood trial in Fort Qu’Appelle last month, and the judge was to have delivered a decision yesterday, but it was instead adjourned to November 26th in Regina.
