Saskatchewan’s COVID-19 Dashboard recorded 238 new cases on Friday, increasing the provincial total thus far to 77,305.
The new cases are located in the Far North West (4), Far North East (8), North West (26), North Central (15), North East (5), Saskatoon (61), Central West (3), Central East (28), Regina (40), South West (3), South Central (7), and South East (28) zones and ten (10) new cases have pending residence information.
Fifteen (15) cases with pending residence information were assigned to the Far North East (from October 7 (1)), North West (from September 24 (2), September 26 (1), September 27 (2), September 28 (1), September 29 (3), October 26 (1), October 27 (1)), Saskatoon (from October 26 (1), October 27 (1)), and Central East (from October 27 (1)) zones.
The Dashboard notes almost one-third (30.3%) of new cases are in the 20 to 39 age category, and almost one-third (32.0%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) were fully vaccinated.

The seven day average of daily new cases is down by 9, to 209 (or 17.3 new cases per 100,000).
Three more deaths due to COVID-19 bring the provincial total to 846, with one death each located in the Far North West, North Central and Central East regions.

Active cases of COVID-19 in the province continues to fall as it currently stands at 2,364.
COVID-19 hospitalizations dropped by 22, to 238. Of the 238 people in hospital, 54 are in ICU’s in the province, plus 22 ICU patients receiving care out-of-province. 165 of the 238 patients were not fully vaccinated.
There were slightly more recoveries than new cases with 269 people recovering from the virus, increasing that total to 74,095.
When it comes to testing, 2,540 new COVID-19 tests were recorded for a total of 1,222,304.
On Friday, 3,974 new vaccine doses were reported, including 1,276 first doses and 2,698 second doses.
