Charges laid following two-vehicle collision in Regina’s southeast end

Two people have been charged following a two-vehicle collision in Regina’s southeast end early Saturday morning (Oct. 30).

At around 3:25 a.m. police were dispatched to the scene at Chuka Boulevard and Arcola Avenue, where police said a westbound Ford F-150 turned left in front of an eastbound Hyundai Accent, resulting in a collision.

The investigation determined both the driver of the F-150 and the driver of the Hyundai Accent were impaired. A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.

19-year-old Liam Hutton, of Balgonie, and 50-year-old Stacey Kress, of Regina are each charged with Impaired Driving, with Hutton to make his first court appearance on November 21st, and Kress to make a first court appearance on November 25.
