Manitoba’s crime statistics for September 2021 saw an overall decrease

Crime statistics for September in Manitoba showed an overall decrease in calls for service by 11%, compared to September of 2020.

The East district saw a 13% drop, while the West district reported a 9% drop, and a 3% drop in the North District.

In the West, there was a 15% decrease in crimes against the person, while well-being checks and missing persons reports increased by 17% and 34%, respectively.

Crimes against property in the West increased by 32%, while drug enforcement had an overall increase of 9%.
