Guilty pleas have been entered by a Rocanville man, facing charges stemming from a child pornography investigation.

The 37-year-old, who can’t be named due to a publication ban, was in Regina Court yesterday (Thu), where he was sentenced to five years and ten months in prison.

In June of 2019, the Saskatchewan and Alberta Internet Child Exploitation Units acted on a tip, alleging that two men were accessing and sharing child porn.

Searches were conducted in Rocanville and Red Deer, resulting in the rescue of two children, the seizure of electronics, and two arrests.
