Wednesday COVID-19 Update for Manitoba: 147 new cases, 123 recoveries, 3 deaths

Today’s COVID-19 update in Manitoba has 147 new cases recorded on the provincial dashboard.

Much of the new cases are located in the Southern Health Region with 71, while 33 are in the Winnipeg Health Region, 23 in the Prairie Mountain Health Region, 12 in the Northern Health Region, and 8 in the Interlake-Eastern Health Region.

This brings the provincial COVID-19 case total to 67,092.

Of the new cases by vaccination status, 79 are not vaccinated, 4 partially-vaccinated, and 64 fully-vaccinated.

There are 153 people hospitalized, including 22 in intensive care, 123 recoveries, and 3 more deaths.

Manitoba has 1,537 active cases, including 182 in the Prairie Mountain Health Region.

An additional 2,710 COVID-19 tests were conducted, increasing the overall total to 1,157,516.

The test positivity rate provincially is 5.9-percent.
