Saskatchewan Identified 42 New Cases Of COVID-19, 185 Recoveries, No Deaths

  • As of November 30th, there are 42 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 80,992 reported cases.
  • The new cases are located in the Far North West (1), North West (2), North Central (1), Saskatoon (9), Central East (9), Regina (7), South West (2), South Central (3) and South East (3) zones and five (5) new cases have pending residence information.
  • Two (2) cases with pending residence information were assigned to Far North West (from November 2 (1)), and North Central (from November 9 (1)) zones.

  • 80,992 cases are confirmed
    • 19,778 cases are from the North area (8,795 North West, 8,149 North Central, 2,834 North East)
    • 19,325 cases are from the Saskatoon area
    • 15,834 cases are from the Regina area
    • 10,139 cases are from the South area (2,187 South West, 2,970 South Central, 4,982 South East)
    • 9,343 cases are from the Far North area (4,393 Far North West, 541 Far North Central, 4,409 Far North East)
    • 6,042 cases are from the Central area (1,436 Central West, 4,606 Central East)
    • 531 cases have pending residence information
  • 715 cases are considered active and 79,351 cases are considered recovered.
  • Less than two-fifths (38.1%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39.
  • Almost two-fifths (37.5%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) were fully vaccinated.
  • As of November 30th, a total of 133 individuals are hospitalized; including 96 inpatient hospitalizations, and 37 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 133 patients, 92 (69.2%) were not fully vaccinated.
  • In addition to SK ICU counts, there are four (4) residents receiving out-of-province care in hospital. As these patients are receiving care out of province, this number is not included in the hospitalization counts in the dashboard. Since yesterday’s report, there has been one repatriation.
  • No (0) new death reported today. 926 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died with a case fatality rate of 1.1%.
  • 1,277,698 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of November 28, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,080,163 tests performed per million.  The national rate was 1,274,387 tests performed per million.
  • The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 73 (6.1 new cases per 100,000).
