The WDM Gets More Funding

The Province of Saskatchewan is providing an additional 50-thousand dollars to the Western Development Museum for the 2020-21 fiscal year to support the expansion of virtual programming across the province. In 2020, the WDM purchased video equipment to film and livestream events, and staff are being trained on effective techniques, for delivering virtual programming. As well, the new online booking system will improve the customer experience, providing links for livestream programming, and allowing for the booking of virtual and in-museum programs by school groups and the public, while also providing the option for online payment.
