Another court appearance for a man charged in an alleged assault on the Standing Buffalo First Nation. On June 22nd, Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP responded to a report of an injured woman at a home on the reserve, and she was taken to hospital with serious injuries. 22-year-old Christopher Maple, of the Standing Buffalo First Nation, is charged with Attempted Murder, and at his preliminary hearing in Fort Qu’Appelle, the case was committed for trial in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench. His first appearance there scheduled for January 14th.
