Manitoba RCMP Remind Motorists To Drive Sober This Holiday Season

Impaired driving remains the leading criminal cause of death.

That from the Manitoba RCMP who urge residents to drive sober this holiday season.

From January 1st to November 30th of this year, 73 people lost their lives in 63 vehicle collisions in the province, with alcohol suspected to be a factor in 21 of those collisions.

Mounties say to help curb those statistics, to always have a plan to arrive home safely if you may become impaired, and to report suspected impaired drivers.
