Melville RCMP say they’ve had several complaints from people getting calls about their Social Insurance Number being breached or cancelled or an arrest warrant has been issued. The victim is directed to press a number and speak to a security officer or Service Canada representative. The RCMP say it’s a scam, adding Service Canada or the police will not be contacting you by these types of phone calls.
