The Manitoba government is providing 750-thousand dollars to the Swan Valley School Division.
The money will go towards the Northern Lights Institute of Trades and Technology, to develop transitional opportunities to current high school and adult students.
NITT will also establish partnerships with key stakeholders including Indigenous communities, to create education and training pathways to employment and lifelong learning in the Swan Valley area.
The funding is part of a new 5-million dollar investment in projects to support Manitoba students.
