A 55-year-old woman has a new court date, on charges stemming from an incident on the Pasqua First Nation earlier this year. On May 23rd, Mounties say a man was hit by a vehicle, and was found in a home on the reserve, before being taken to hospital. Laurenda Kahnapace was arrested at the scene, and faces a number of charges, including Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm and Assault with a Weapon. In September, she was committed to stand trial in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench, and her next pretrial appearance will be on February 11th.
