On Tuesday, Manitoba recorded 302 new cases of COVID-19, increasing the total number to 71,888.
The Winnipeg Health Region has the majority of the new cases with 200, while the Southern Health Region has 47 cases, the Prairie Mountain Health Region 30, the Interlake-Eastern Health Region 14, and the Northern Health Region has 11 new cases.
Of the new cases by vaccination status, the majority are now in the fully-vaccinated category with 230, while 60 cases are unvaccinated and 12 are partially-vaccinated.
The number of people in hospital decreased to 133, as did ICU patients to 26, while 165 people recovered and no new deaths were recorded.
There are 2,316 active cases in the province, including 215 in Prairie Mountain Health.
An additional 3,485 tests for COVID-19 were recorded on the dashboard, and Manitoba’s test positivity rate is currently 8.6 percent.
