- As of December 23rd, there are 194 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 82,640 reported cases.

- The new cases are located in the Far North West (2), Far North East (1), North West (7), North Central (7), North East (4), Saskatoon (63), Central West (4), Central East (18), Regina (64), South West (1), South Central (6), and South East (12) zones and five (5) new cases have pending residence information.
- Four (4) SK residents tested positive out-of-province were added to the case counts in the Saskatoon (from December 20 (2)), South West (from December 20 (1)), and South Central (December 20 (1)) zones.

- 20,020 cases are from the North area (8,888 North West, 8,275 North Central, 2,857 North East)
- 19,803 cases are from the Saskatoon area
- 16,189 cases are from the Regina area
- 10,401 cases are from the South area (2,208 South West, 3,029 South Central, 5,164 South East)
- 9,403 cases are from the Far North area (4,423 Far North West, 541 Far North Central, 4,439 Far North East)
- 6,265 cases are from the Central area (1,467 Central West, 4,798 Central East)
- 559 cases have pending residence information
- 789 cases are considered active and 80,906 cases are considered recovered.
- Almost one-half (45.9%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39.
- Under two-thirds (60.4%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 5 years and older) were fully vaccinated.
- As of December 23rd, a total of 87 individuals are hospitalized, including 58 inpatient hospitalizations and 29 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 87 patients, 50 (57.5%) were not fully vaccinated.
- One (1) new death reported today. 945 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 1.1%.
- 1,316,965 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of December 21, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,111,772 tests performed per million population. The national rate was 1,342,237 tests performed per million.
- The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 88 (7.3 new cases per 100,000).
