Manitoba Hydro Gets A Rate Hike

To help offset the financial consequences of the drought experienced in 2021, the provinces Rate Review Panel has granted Manitoba Hydro an interim rate increase. It will start January 1st, and run until November 15th, unless Hydro files for a permanent hike. Hydro had asked for a 5% boost, but the board approved a 3.6% hike.
