A new court date has been set for a Fishing Lake First Nation man, arrested following a disturbance on and around the reserve.
31-year-old Joseph Desjarlais faces numerous charges, including Assault with a Weapon and Flight from Police, and had his matters adjourned until January 6th in Wadena.
On December 10th, Wadena RCMP responded to a report of a man threatening an individual at a security checkpoint on the Fishing Lake First Nation, before fleeing.
Officers located the suspect in an SUV in Wadena, but it fled, before causing a collison on Highway 16 south of the reserve, where the suspect was arrested.
