A new court date has been set for two people charged in connection with a drug and firearm bust last month, in Kisbey.
Carlyle RCMP carried out a search warrant at a Kisbey residence on November 23rd, where they found a stolen firearm, 52 grams of cocaine and an undisclosed amount of cash.
27-year-old Jordan Desjarlais of Regina, and 20-year-old Kiera Shingoose face several charges, including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Shingoose will be back in Carlyle Court on January 5th, while Desjarlais’ next appearance will be on January 26th..
22-year-old Justin Desjarlais, who is charged along with Jordan Desjarlais and two other men, in two separate incidents in July, on neighbouring First Nations, that Mounties say are linked, was also back in court last Wednesday, and he will appear again on January 26th.
