- As of December 29th, there are 293 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 83,855 reported cases.
- The new cases are located in the Far North West (1), Far North East (3), North West (4), North Central (3), North East (4), Saskatoon (60), Central West (5), Central East (13), Regina (138), South West (2), South Central (19), South East (12), and 29 new cases have pending residence information.
- Two (2) cases were assigned to North West (from December 26 (1)), and Saskatoon (from December 27 (1)) zones.
- Four (4) SK residents tested positive out-of-province were added to the case counts in the Saskatoon (from December 26 (1)) , and Regina (from December 20 (1), December 25 (2)) zones.

- 1,645 cases are considered active and 81,259 cases are considered recovered.
- One-half (50.9%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39.
- More than one-half (55.9%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 5 years and older) were fully vaccinated.
- As of December 29th, a total of 83 individuals are hospitalized, including 68 inpatient hospitalizations and 15 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 83 patients, 47 (56.6%) were not fully vaccinated.
- Four (4) new deaths today. 951 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 1.1%.
- 1,325,835 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of December 23, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,113,380 tests performed per million. The national rate was 1,346,185 tests performed per million.
- The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 200 (16.6 new cases per 100,000).
