- As of December 30th, there are 589 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 84,446 reported cases
- The new cases are located in the Far North West (3), Far North East (1), North West (20), North Central (18), North East (4), Saskatoon (242), Central West (18), Central East (44), Regina (137), South West (24), South Central (20), South East (27), and 31 new cases have pending residence information
- Six (6) cases were assigned to the Saskatoon (from December 27 (1), December 28 (1)), Regina (from December 28 (2)), and South East (from December 26 (1), December 28 (1)) zones
- One (1) SK resident tested positive out-of-province was added to the case counts in the Saskatoon (from December 27 (1)) zone
- Two (2) SK residents who tested positive earlier (possibly in private lab) were added to the case counts in the Saskatoon (from December 28 (2)) zones
- One (1) duplicate case was removed from Regina zone from December 28, 2021

- 2,176 cases are considered active and 81,315 cases are considered recovered
- Almost one-half (46.5%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39
- More than one-half (52.3%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 5 years and older) were fully vaccinated
- As of December 30th, a total of 79 individuals are hospitalized, including 65 inpatient hospitalizations and 14 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 79 patients, 47 (59.5%) were not fully vaccinated.
- Four (4) new deaths today. 955 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 1.1%.
- 1,328,343 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of December 28, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,121,432 tests performed per million. The national rate of 1,370,286 tests performed per million population.
- The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 257 (21.3 new cases per 100,000).
